The Project “Lifestyle – responsibility + decision” strives to prepare the teenagers of the foundation as human beings and professionals after their life in the foundation.
IED Santa Rosa is a rural public school located 20 minutes away from Popayan, the main city of this region. They have students of all ages, from preschool to high school. They also have a lot of different projects running besides the academic classes.
We are a non-profit organization with an educational offer for public and private sector that require a proposal in alternative pedagogies, flexible models, strategies and didactics, to strengthen the teaching and learning processes, in order to restore the fundamental right to receive a quality education.
The project is a school center for approximately 250 children promoting education and rehabilitation of deaf and hearing impaired children, but also children with various disabilities as well as hearing-healthy children. Most of the pupils come from socially deprived families.
We educate the children and youth of Bogotá, with ethical and Christian values to transform their future and that of their families. We guarantee their rights, preventing all forms of mistreatment, abuse and psychosocial risks. In this way, our beneficiaries conquer spaces of inclusion through education for life.
The project provides education for children and teenagers (3 to 18 years old) from mostly very poor areas in Bogotá. In collaboration with the Pedagogic University the youngsters and kids receive different classes including sports, languages and arts. The school day is from 6:10 until 11:30/12:15.
The foundation Campeones de Amor works with children and teenagers with special needs. Its objective is to improve the life quality of their life. Physical (football, swimming, basketball, etc.) and recreational activities (arts, handicraft etc.) are an excellent opportunity to improve the autonomy and independence of persons with special needs.
We work with children who have some tipe of dissease or special needs we offer them a suitable house for their needs, restore their violated rights and care for them. A multidisciplinary team administers this: nutritionist, nurses, pedagogic team, psychologist. We also have a a space for the care of the elderly and homeless peole which is a community dining room.
Fundación Gente Unida provides education to children, young people and adults and promotes key values and competencies necessary so that participants acquire the tools with which they can transform their lives and environment.
