Casa Mucura is a foundation created to support and accompany the local community of Nuquí (Colombian pacific coast) in the strengthening of capacities that lead to the self-management of their own projects. They co-create with a responsible community approach that starts from a close understanding of the territory and works through participatory methodologies and permaculture principles that include the vision of the community and lead to social, environmental, and economic sustainability.
The main tasks are:
- Accompany the different experiences the foundation do with tourist and people from the community
- Support the workshops they do (Medicinal Plants, Handicrafts, Agriculture and Gastronomy, Musical Expression and Artisanal Fishing)
- Support the activities with children and women
